Requirements
- Have 5+ years building healthcare data integrations.
- Have experience with at least two EHR systems, such as EPIC, Allscripts, Athena, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, Cerner, Greenway, or Meditech.
- Have experience with healthcare data workflows and standards, including HL7 FHIR, HL7 CDA, HL7 2.x, EDI X12, LOINC, ICD10, SNOMED, or CPT.
- Have experience with data quality processes, checks, validations, and metrics definition and measurement.
- Demonstrate experience with data warehouse and ETL architectures and concepts.
- Have experience creating APIs from scratch and automating data pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Map, extract, transform, and load data from source to target through multiple stages.
- Own ETL pipelines exchanging data through HL7 transactions, FHIR, 2.x, CCDA, XML, JSON, RESTful APIs, flat files, and SFTP.
- Partner with client-facing teams to explain and enforce data requirements.
- Standardize data file templates and establish or maintain required data source feeds.
- Provide technical support integrating EMR/EHR and patient eligibility data with internal systems and operational teams.
- Translate business needs into data models for scalable and reliable solutions.
- Build APIs and functionality for data ingress and egress with external systems.
