Requirements
- Advanced Power BI skills.
- Advanced DAX skills, including understanding context transition and identifying incorrect measures.
- Advanced Power Query skills.
- Dimensional modeling skills, including the ability to identify anti-patterns.
- Experience using AI in real client or production work and examples of work shipped with AI assistance.
- Ability to identify and correct errors in AI output.
- Ability to verify and test AI-generated work.
- Ability to connect technical work to business impact.
- Ability to translate executive concerns into technical and human solutions.
- Comfort presenting to C-suite executives and front-line managers.
Responsibilities
- Translate client business frustrations into technical solutions as a trusted advisor.
- Guide clients in making their data usable.
- Train and enable client teams.
- Model business needs into scalable semantic layers.
- Write DAX and Power Query to improve data reliability.
- Own delivery from data source through model and visualization to decision.
- Interrogate client data models using MCP servers and Claude to prototype and pressure-test solutions.
- Turn discovery calls into working prototypes using the AI publishing layer.
- Build reusable skills and tools for recurring client problems.
- Review AI-generated work for modeling and join errors.
