Excellent / native ability to speak, read and write Japanese (essential). Fluency in English
Experience
Minimum of 2 PQE

Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 2 PQE.
  • Have experience at a corporation, financial institution, or law firm.
  • Hold a legal qualification from any jurisdiction.
  • Have experience drafting and reviewing commercial contracts or providing general in-house legal support.
  • Have excellent or native ability to speak, read, and write Japanese.
  • Be fluent in English.
  • A Japan qualification is an asset but is not required.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside clients’ legal and business teams to provide commercially tailored support.
  • Provide practical legal advice and support aligned with business goals and initiatives.
