Requirements
- Hold a BA/BS degree.
- Have 2+ years of experience leading a professional development team.
- Have K-12 teaching experience.
- Have experience managing people and developing teams.
- Be able to foster collaboration and build a positive team culture.
- Have strong presentation skills and comfort presenting to teachers and administrators.
- Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with others.
- Be organized, methodical, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.
- Have strong analytical-reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Live in Texas and close to a major airport.
- Be able to travel to support districts and provide professional development, with travel up to 60% during back-to-school season and up to 40% during the remainder of the year.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and motivate a small team of District Partnership Specialists and Professional Learning Specialists.
- Oversee professional development and district implementations across Texas.
- Stay informed about statewide initiatives affecting Texas K-12 schools and align IXL implementations and professional development accordingly.
- Partner with Texas district leaders to create and implement professional development plans aligned with district goals.
- Own a small number of district accounts and support their IXL implementation and professional development.
- Collaborate with the sales team to strategize and grow customer relationships in Texas.
- Travel to support districts, provide professional development, and observe team members.
- Observe professional development and provide actionable feedback to team members.
- Analyze data to guide decisions and determine next steps.
