Requirements
- Have 2+ years of experience managing a development team with ownership of delivery.
- Have experience in GameDev; this is a must.
- Have experience working with multidisciplinary development teams.
- Bring strong operational management and process improvement skills.
- Understand Agile and common project management approaches.
- Demonstrate structured thinking and the ability to understand cause-and-effect relationships.
- Be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Have experience in people and performance management.
- Be able to set clear expectations and establish evaluation criteria before assessing performance.
- Have experience with competency frameworks, goal setting, feedback, and employee development.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of a development team and coordinate across functions.
- Own and improve operational processes within the area of responsibility.
- Identify process gaps and inefficiencies and drive improvements from idea to implementation.
- Work with the team and management to set priorities, goals, and ways of working.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
- Contribute to competency matrices and clear expectations for team roles.
- Work with budgets, invoices, and other operational processes.
- Explore and implement AI and other modern tools to improve management and operational processes.
