Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure.
- Have at least 3 years of hands-on Azure experience.
- Have proven experience writing production Terraform or Bicep for Azure.
- Have experience building CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments.
- Have working knowledge of Azure networking, including VNets, NSGs, and Private Endpoints.
- Have working knowledge of Entra ID and RBAC.
- Be able to commit to about 25 hours per week during Eastern business hours.
- Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-400 are nice to have.
- HashiCorp Terraform Associate certification is nice to have.
- Experience in financial services, payments, or other regulated environments is nice to have.
- Prior consulting or fractional contract experience is nice to have.
- Bilingual English and Spanish is nice to have.
Responsibilities
- Design, write, and maintain infrastructure as code for Azure environments using Terraform and/or Bicep.
- Build and maintain infrastructure deployment CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Build reusable modules and establish naming, tagging, and environment standards.
- Manage networking, identity, RBAC, and Key Vault configuration in code.
- Enforce governance with Azure Policy and address configuration drift.
- Document the infrastructure and work closely with the client's internal team.
