Requirements
- Have 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or related technical roles.
- Have experience supporting cloud-based and enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Have experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms.
- Know infrastructure architecture, networking, storage, and compute concepts.
- Have experience troubleshooting infrastructure and cloud-related issues.
- Be familiar with automation, scripting, or Infrastructure-as-Code concepts.
- Have experience working within Agile teams and operational support environments.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Preferred: experience supporting CMS, Federal Government, or healthcare systems.
- Preferred: experience with AWS cloud services, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Docker.
- Preferred: experience with Terraform or CloudFormation, CI/CD and DevOps practices, cloud monitoring, logging, observability, or cloud security and identity management.
Responsibilities
- Support provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud and infrastructure resources across multiple environments.
- Monitor system health, availability, and performance, and assist with infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Support cloud deployments, environment builds, and infrastructure integrations.
- Assist with Kubernetes-based platform administration and containerized environments.
- Participate in system maintenance, including patching, updates, and configuration management.
- Support infrastructure automation and Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives.
- Assist with incident response, root cause analysis, and operational support.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and configuration records.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Application Development, and Operations teams on platform stability and environment readiness.
- Apply cloud engineering best practices to improve reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
