Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years in sales operations, revenue operations, or commercial strategy at a technology company, ideally SaaS, or in strategy or technology consulting.
  • Direct ownership of a regional or global sales forecast process, including forecast accuracy improvement.
  • Direct ownership of an annual sales planning cycle, including segmentation, territory design, quota setting, and capacity modeling.
  • Proven ability to drive complex cross-functional programs through influence rather than direct authority.
  • Strong analytical rigor, including structuring ambiguous problems, generating insight from quantitative analysis, identifying data issues, and defending recommendations.
  • Credibility with senior sales leaders and effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce and the surrounding commercial technology stack.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, domestically and internationally, and work across time zones.
  • Advanced degree in Economics, Mathematics, or Business Administration preferred.
  • Experience with AI-enabled productivity and automation tooling, forecast governance, pipeline hygiene, or sales operating cadences is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Own the AMER operating calendar, including forecast calls, pipeline inspection, performance reviews, QBRs, and leadership meetings.
  • Shape meeting agendas and analysis, and track resulting actions with owners and dates.
  • Lead the AMER forecast process, including cadence, roll-up logic, and snapshot discipline.
  • Set and enforce commit criteria, stage definitions, and pipeline hygiene standards; diagnose forecast error and recurring gaps.
  • Partner with Finance on sales and financial forecast reconciliation, variance explanations, and forecast narratives.
  • Lead the AMER Annual Operating Plan process, including segmentation, territory design, account distribution, quota setting, and capacity modeling.
  • Shape go-to-market structure and headcount scenarios, influence Sales Compensation plan design, and direct in-year territory and coverage changes.
  • Set priorities for Sales Operations professionals supporting AMER and maintain standards for analytical rigor, data integrity, and recommendations.
  • Mentor operations professionals and represent AMER in global Sales Operations forums.
  • Diagnose process, tooling, and data challenges; drive AI and automation adoption with Corporate IT and global Sales Operations.
