Requirements

  • Have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Have 1+ years of experience in healthcare operations, revenue cycle, or document management; this experience is preferred.
  • Bring familiarity with medical claims documentation and payer/provider data processes; this familiarity is preferred.
  • Demonstrate strong computer proficiency and the ability to use MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Handle large volumes of work while paying close attention to detail.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Work under limited supervision, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize assignments within time constraints.
  • Communicate issues, problems, and results that affect task-completion timelines.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Be willing to learn and adapt in a dynamic, evolving operational environment.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Retrieve medical documentation from client systems, including implant invoices, UB-04 documents, Explanations of Benefits, and medical record components.
  • Submit document request lists and monitor outstanding requests to obtain documentation needed for claim processing.
  • Scan, upload, and store medical documentation and confidential patient health information in accordance with data handling standards.
  • Gather and organize data from client systems and EnableComp platforms to prepare reconciliation reports for review and resolution.
  • Research closed and returned claims, resolve open items, post adjustments, enter refund and payment research requests, and review or rebill missing claims.
  • Support prebill work queue resolution for assigned clients while meeting established KPI standards.
  • Communicate operational findings to Client Delivery team members and escalate client-impacting issues.
  • Identify system issues, workflow barriers, and recurring process gaps, and report or escalate them to the Client Support People Leader.
  • Maintain accurate, real-time documentation of account activity in the E360 platform and use multiple systems for timely data entry.
  • Follow standard operating procedures, provide feedback on process improvements, and assist with moving work through the department.
