Requirements
- Have advanced English proficiency.
- Bring a professional background in Finance Analytics, Financial Planning & Analysis, Management Accounting, Controllership, Commercial Finance, or Business Intelligence.
- Demonstrate strong command of P&L structures, including Gross Revenue, Net Revenue, COGS, Gross Profit, Contribution Margin, Trade Promotion, allocations, provisions, and financial reconciliations.
- Have experience managing data products, analytics products, or complex data-driven initiatives, including backlog ownership, business rule definition, and acceptance criteria.
- Have experience supporting or closely coordinating monthly financial closing processes.
- Be able to distinguish data issues from accounting, classification, timing, or business-rule issues.
- Translate complex financial requirements into clear, structured, and testable specifications for technical teams.
- Manage stakeholders across Finance, Controllership, Accounting, Tax, Commercial Finance, Technology, and senior leadership.
- Understand data architecture and analytical workflows, including source, transformation, semantic, and consumption layers.
- Have basic to intermediate SQL proficiency for data validation and exploratory analysis.
- CPG, FMCG, retail, food and beverage, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with SAP Finance, SAP Controlling, SAP Material Ledger, or COPA is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own Finance Analytics products through discovery, prioritization, validation, deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement.
- Connect Finance stakeholders, Data Developer teams, Analytics specialists, and platform teams by translating financial discussions into clear, testable requirements.
- Coordinate monthly financial closing checkpoints, monitor business-critical dependencies, consolidate risks, and ensure functional validation of results.
- Define, document, coordinate, and manage approval of financial business rules before implementation.
- Lead business investigations into financial divergences, anomalies, reconciliation gaps, and unexpected movements.
- Own and prioritize the functional backlog based on financial impact, operational risk, urgency, technical feasibility, and stakeholder expectations.
- Define and maintain financial KPI definitions, including calculation logic, ownership, dependencies, granularity, validation criteria, and downstream impacts.
- Coordinate with Data Developer teams on production incidents by determining business criticality, expected behavior, and communication priorities.
- Maintain operational documentation, including business rules, closing procedures, decision logs, known exceptions, and stakeholder maps.
