Job Details

Requirements

  • Hold a valid BCBA certificate.
  • Hold a Maryland LBA.
  • Have experience working with children and teens diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
  • Have a vehicle for travel between assignments.
  • Have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake evaluations, including functional behavioral assessments and skills assessments.
  • Design treatment plans of care.
  • Supervise and monitor the progress of behavior technicians.
  • Design positive behavioral treatment and skill acquisition plans with individualized goals.
  • Supervise and train ABA technicians, and implement, model, and monitor individualized behavior support and skill plans with them.
  • Support family conversations so parents understand assessment results and treatment recommendations.
  • Graph data, adjust strategies as needed, and provide routine progress summaries.
