Requirements
- Have experience with programming languages such as Java, React, and Angular, and understand scripting languages such as Python.
- Have strong debugging and triaging skills for troubleshooting code.
- Have experience with relational databases such as SQL and DataBricks, and relational or non-relational databases.
- Have experience with Docker and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Azure Pipelines.
- Understand application monitoring tools such as DataDog, Prometheus, or Grafana, and be able to generate reports and take corrective actions.
- Ensure bug fixes and enhancements to existing code are high-quality and well-tested.
- Be comfortable with Agile methods such as Scrum and/or Kanban.
- Be willing to participate in a rotation- and need-based 24x7 available team.
- Bonus: have AI/ML experience and familiarity with AI-driven development tools.
Responsibilities
- Use incident management processes, application monitoring metrics, and tools to generate reports and take corrective actions.
- Understand complex application systems and debug business-impacting issues.
- Follow standards and best practices to improve operational efficiency, system stability, and availability.
- Use continuous delivery practices to evolve, support, and deliver high-quality software.
- Use logging techniques for alerting, monitoring, and identifying incident root causes.
- Use DevOps tools and practices to deploy and run software.
- Mentor less experienced peers and junior-level consultants.
- Apply cloud best practices for resource optimization, monitoring, and alerting.
- Advocate for and implement security best practices.
