Requirements
- Have worked on live capital raises or M&A processes.
- Have personally run investor or buyer outreach, rather than only preparing decks and models.
- Bring investor relationships built personally and be able to explain how each relationship began.
- Know what investors need to see before taking a meeting and how to get a busy investor to reply.
- Maintain precision in investor communications.
- Treat discretion as a core part of the work; do not include investor names in the application.
- Use AI tools daily and exercise judgment about where they improve work and where they could compromise its quality.
Responsibilities
- Run investor processes for each opportunity, approaching investors in the right order and following up until there is a clear answer.
- Maintain and qualify investor relationships, including relationships brought to Pairs and those developed there.
- Match opportunities with investors based on what each investor is looking for.
- Stay engaged and useful to investors between opportunities.
- Judge which investors are likely to commit capital.
