Requirements
- Have worked on live capital raises or M&A processes.
- Have personally run investor or buyer outreach, not only built decks and models.
- Hold investor relationships that you built personally and be able to explain how each began.
- Know what investors need to see before taking a meeting and how to get a busy investor to reply.
- Maintain a high bar for precision in investor communications.
- Treat discretion as second nature; do not include investor names in the application.
- Use AI tools daily and exercise judgment about where they improve work and where they could compromise quality.
Responsibilities
- Run investor processes for each opportunity, approaching the right investors in the right order and following up until there is a clear answer.
- Maintain and qualify existing investor relationships and develop new ones.
- Match opportunities with investors based on what each investor looks for.
- Stay engaged and useful to investors between opportunities.
- Assess which investors are likely to commit capital.
