Requirements
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Have 1–2 years of relevant experience in DevOps, SRE, or Software Engineering.
- Be familiar with at least one programming language: Python, Go, or Bash.
- Have basic knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices.
- Have general knowledge of AWS cloud engineering.
- Have general knowledge of containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Demonstrate a commitment to self-improvement and follow-through on challenging tasks.
Responsibilities
- Build small to medium-sized infrastructure components using Terraform and AWS.
- Maintain and debug CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
- Troubleshoot issues in containerized environments, including Kubernetes pods and EKS networking bottlenecks.
- Use AI code assistants such as GitHub Copilot and Claude for onboarding and well-defined automation tasks.
- Validate AI-generated code for correctness and style according to team standards.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and assist in responding to system alerts.
- Use logging and observability tools to find relevant information during troubleshooting.
- Test and document code and ensure bugs are fixed across development, staging, and production environments.
- Participate in sprint planning and daily standups, and communicate project status and implementation details.
- Partner with senior engineers to understand how work impacts customers and helps the business scale.
