Requirements

  • Have 5+ years of leadership experience in HSEQ, HSSE, or Quality Assurance/Operations.
  • Bring experience in solar, electrical, construction, or highly technical field service environments.
  • Have experience developing and implementing QA programs, workmanship standards, and training mechanisms for distributed field forces.
  • Have working knowledge of US electrical codes and OSHA standards.
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn, apply, and audit international regulatory frameworks, such as Australia's.
  • Have experience conducting root-cause analysis for safety incidents and technical or workmanship failures.
  • Have experience using Field Service Management data to build dashboards and report on performance trends to executive leadership.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or ISO 9001 Quality Management System training is a plus.
  • Experience scaling HSEQ frameworks internationally is a plus.
  • Knowledge of residential and commercial PV systems, inverter troubleshooting, and energy storage systems is a plus.
  • Experience managing quality, SLAs, and safety compliance across third-party partner networks is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a unified HSEQ program across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Establish technical standards for solar and storage repairs and post-repair validation processes.
  • Set technician conduct, communication, and onsite behavior standards and improve customer touchpoints.
  • Define safety and quality requirements, including Stop-Work Authority and Quality Correction protocols, for employees and third-party contractors.
  • Ensure field activities and workmanship comply with local building codes, electrical standards, and national regulations.
  • Maintain an audit-ready library of HSE policies, QA checklists, SOPs, and technical repair instructions.
  • Lead root-cause analysis of safety incidents and workmanship failures, coordinate corrective and preventive actions, and prevent repeat issues.
  • Develop, track, and report safety and quality metrics, including First-Time Fix Rate, callbacks, and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with Legal, Operations, Partner Management, and Client Success to integrate HSEQ into operational workflows.
