Requirements
- 3–5 years of specialized recruiting experience.
- Experience ideally in an expert network firm, litigation support agency, insurance defense firm, or legal staffing environment.
- A proven track record sourcing non-traditional, highly technical roles such as engineers, financial analysts, and scientists.
- Strong investigative research and sourcing skills using resources such as LinkedIn, academic publications, professional associations, and industry registries.
- Understanding of professional credentials, technical CVs, and scientific and technical disciplines.
- Negotiation, contract communication, and relationship-management skills.
- Working knowledge of legal, insurance, or forensic terminology.
- High proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Must supply and maintain reliable, high-speed internet; an uninterrupted internet connection is required.
Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements, case constraints, and turnaround deadlines to negotiate expert witness agreement terms.
- Research and source niche specialists in engineering, financial, forensic, scientific, and other fields.
- Onboard expert witnesses and collect required documentation, including CVs, certifications, fee schedules, W9s, and background checks.
- Maintain expert records, fee schedules, profiles, and active or inactive statuses.
- Coordinate with the Director of Operations to finalize specialized fee structures.
- Lead complex negotiations and contract renewals for high-priority or sought-after expert witnesses.
- Handle sensitive or urgent client requests involving rare specialties or tight discovery deadlines.
- Assist expert reviewers with technical onboarding, portal training, and case-specific inquiries.
- Fulfill high-priority open service requests by locating and qualifying specialists and providing daily progress updates.
- Collaborate with operations to align the expert network with upcoming pipeline demand.
