10+ years of relevant engineering/design experience

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a two- or four-year technology degree supplemented by equivalent technical training or experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant engineering/design experience with exposure to manufacturing environments.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex projects.
  • Experience with industrial intelligent linear actuators and end effectors.
  • Experience integrating machine vision.
  • Experience with Rockwell ControlLogix PLCs and FactoryTalk View (FTView) HMI hardware and software.
  • Experience with Rockwell PowerFlex VFDs and inverter-duty motors.
  • Experience with Rockwell Kinetix servo drives and motors.
  • Experience with Ethernet and Ethernet/IP networking.
  • Experience designing electrical system schematics and control panel layouts.
  • Experience developing construction and installation documentation.
  • Recent experience with sensing technologies, panel design/layout, and engineering construction and bid packages.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical hardware and software design leadership for industrial projects.
  • Develop design packages for bid and construction.
  • Coordinate and execute PLC/DCS, HMI, VFD, and servo motion project design and programming from hardware design and software integration through construction start-up.
  • Coordinate electrical engineering and lead design/CAD resources.
  • Design hardware and software for machine design projects in consumer products and general industrial markets.
  • Assist with project documentation, including schedules, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Gather data and provide installation, start-up, and troubleshooting support.
  • Support ongoing controls troubleshooting for production equipment, which may include nights and weekends.
  • Interface directly with clients to understand and respond to their needs.
