Requirements
- Maintain active BCBA certification in good standing.
- Hold a master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience working as a BCBA.
- Be bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Have strong clinical writing and analytical skills.
- Have experience with telehealth and remote supervision.
- Be comfortable using technology platforms and data systems.
- Be able to work independently in a remote startup environment.
- Be located in New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, North Carolina, Nevada, Utah, Oklahoma, or Colorado.
- Follow the BACB Ethics Code for Behavior Analysts and maintain HIPAA-compliant handling of video-capture data.
- Maintain required CEUs and practice within scope of competence.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments using caregiver interviews, record review, direct observation, and standardized assessment tools.
- Use video-capture technology to review sessions and analyze behavior patterns.
- Develop individualized, data-driven treatment plans and behavior intervention plans aligned with medical necessity.
- Ensure reports meet payer authorization standards and internal quality benchmarks.
- Prepare cases for transition to ongoing BCBA and RBT teams.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Provide case summaries and transition notes for assigned clinical teams.
- Collaborate with Intake, Scheduling, and Clinical Leadership to support efficient onboarding.
- Provide feedback on system improvements, technology optimization, and workflow refinement.
