Requirements
- Be a proactive problem solver who takes initiative to address new problems.
- Have a successful track record in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
- Have experience working in or alongside state or local government agencies.
- Build trust and relationships quickly in new environments.
- Have a track record of implementing meaningful changes.
- Be able to build clear, repeatable processes internally and externally.
- Have a track record of managing cross-functional teams and documenting work clearly.
- Be comfortable supporting data analysis and technology products.
- Have experience in account management, product management, political strategy or lobbying, business development, policy, or a similar role.
- Be willing and able to travel frequently, averaging 3–5 business days per month, including to correctional facilities.
- Preferred: Have a personal or professional connection to the criminal justice system or a strong interest in criminal justice work.
Responsibilities
- Understand, deconstruct, and document the needs of correctional actors and justice-involved individuals.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and make them feel heard and supported.
- Adapt and deploy core product offerings and ad hoc data analysis capabilities for state partners.
- Communicate specific steps for product managers, user experience designers, data analysts, and implementation engineers to support state objectives.
- Drive partnerships toward impact and financial sustainability.
- Hold in-person meetings with state officials and travel to prisons and parole offices.
