Job Details

5+ years of experience designing web or product experiences.
Experience preparing detailed specifications and redlines for engineering handoff, particularly for asynchronous or distributed teams.
Comfort working directly in Jira or a similar ticketing system with a development team and following tickets through completion.
Familiarity with design systems, tokens, and component libraries.
Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and their application to web design.
Strong visual design skills and attention to detail and consistency.
Applied understanding of hierarchy, typography, color, and layout.
Strong interaction design and prototyping skills.
High proficiency with Figma.
Exposure to usability testing, user research, or working from research findings.
Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
Experience leveraging AI tools in a daily design workflow.
Degree in Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
A portfolio demonstrating strong UI/UX craft.

Design user journeys, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes for web pages and components using and extending the existing web design system.
Contribute components and patterns to the web design system and keep its documentation current.
Prepare specifications, redlines, and handoff documentation for the distributed engineering team.
Track design tickets in Jira alongside developers and follow them through completion and launch.
Review live branches and staging builds against design specifications and help resolve visual or functional mismatches.
Conduct user research in collaboration with the research lead.
Design and build conversion-focused web pages on a staging branch in the CMS.
Use AI-assisted and design-to-code tools to support handoff and reduce manual production work.
Collaborate with engineers, web authors, TPMs, web strategists, and other departments to ship accessible experiences.
