Requirements
- Have run content for a named brand or publication on a weekly cadence.
- Be able to show examples of the work and its results.
- Write to a high standard in a restrained register.
- Be able to turn a transcript into a finished article quickly.
- Edit short-form video yourself or provide examples of clips cut from longer recordings.
- Identify stories in raw material that others might skip.
- Work well with a designer or brand lead and take direction on look and voice without losing pace.
- Use AI tools daily and exercise judgment about where they improve work and where they could compromise quality.
- Familiarity with the founder and venture capital world is an advantage, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Run the content calendar and decide what ships each week, on which channel, and in which voice.
- Write and edit articles, social posts, and newsletters to a publishable standard.
- Turn recorded founder and investor interviews into clips, quotes, and stories.
- Use raw material, including call transcripts and founders' views on raising capital, to develop finished content.
- Publish content on the website, LinkedIn, X, and the weekly newsletter.
- Work with the brand and design team on the look of each asset.
- Maintain a steady weekly publishing cadence and track what founders and investors engage with.
- Work directly with the co-founders.
