Requirements
- Have 15+ years of ICT experience, including at least 8 years in architecture leadership roles.
- Demonstrate enterprise and cloud architecture delivery in large, complex, regulated environments.
- Have experience creating architecture artefacts, governance documentation, reference architectures, and technical standards.
- Bring deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and strong experience designing solutions with AWS services and architecture patterns.
- Have experience with cloud migration, modernization, and hybrid-cloud environments.
- Know API-first architecture, enterprise integration, middleware platforms, and event-driven architectures using Kafka or equivalent.
- Understand REST, SOAP, microservices, and modern integration patterns.
- Have experience designing identity and access management solutions and applying Zero Trust principles.
- Know enterprise security frameworks and government security controls, including application, network, and cloud security architecture.
- Have experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, or equivalent DevOps tooling, and understand Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, automated deployment pipelines, and DevSecOps.
- Provide technical leadership, facilitate architecture decisions, mentor engineers and architects, and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification and TOGAF, SABSA, or equivalent architecture certification are desirable.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise, solution, and cloud architecture across complex technology environments.
- Produce and govern HLDs, DLDs, reference architectures, reusable design patterns, and architecture documentation.
- Define future-state architectures, technology roadmaps, architecture standards, and governance frameworks.
- Design secure Azure and AWS solutions and guide cloud adoption, migration, modernization, and hybrid-cloud initiatives.
- Define architecture patterns for enterprise platforms, digital services, data ecosystems, and enterprise integration.
- Drive Infrastructure as Code, cloud automation, CI/CD, DevSecOps, automated governance, observability, and operational readiness.
- Embed Secure-by-Design and Zero Trust principles and align architecture decisions with security and compliance frameworks.
- Provide technical leadership, architecture reviews, guidance, quality assurance, workshops, and mentoring.
- Advise executives, business leaders, vendors, security stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams on technology decisions.
