Requirements

  • Read, write, and speak English and French fluently.
  • Have 1-3 years of experience in customer service or technical support.
  • Have 1-3 years of experience troubleshooting technical hardware and/or software issues.
  • Demonstrate expert-level Excel skills, including creating pivot tables and reports.
  • Be able to work any schedule in a 24/7 environment, including afternoons, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Use Google Suite for business, including Sheets, Docs, and Slides.
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Be able to explain technical concepts clearly to customers with varying technical backgrounds.
  • A post-secondary diploma or degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is highly valued.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Python, C#, or JavaScript is highly valued.
  • Working knowledge of data warehouses such as Google BigQuery is highly valued.
  • Experience working within a technical or engineering organization is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Support partners, customers, sales representatives, and internal teams by phone, chat, and email.
  • Provide technical expertise on database setup, user management, rules and reporting, device errors, network communications, portal configuration, and product implementation.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues involving connectivity, installation, and platform inquiries.
  • Coordinate with internal departments on returns and exchanges of Geotab devices and accessories.
  • Resolve customer complaints and escalate critical concerns to management.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of customer data and information.
  • Handle support cases from initial contact through resolution and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal technical teams to escalate complex issues and find solutions for cameras, keyless systems, and other integrated technologies.
