Requirements
- Have a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience is preferred.
- Bring previous experience in medical information, healthcare, customer service, case management, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or a related environment; this experience is advantageous.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead, guide, or support colleagues and maintain quality standards.
- Have strong verbal, written, and active listening skills and a professional, empathetic telephone manner.
- Show attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing intake documentation, entering information into databases, and maintaining records.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel and confident using computer systems, databases, and other digital tools.
- Demonstrate analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities when handling sensitive or complex information.
- Manage multiple projects or priorities while maintaining quality and timeliness.
- Bring strong organizational and time-management skills and the ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
- Participate reliably in frequent virtual meetings and calls without disruption.
- Follow confidentiality, regulatory compliance, patient privacy, and established procedures and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Maintain quality standards by following approved scripts, guidelines, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Lead and guide team members to support consistent service quality and effective program delivery.
- Document and triage Medical Information Requests, Adverse Events, and Product Quality Complaints in accordance with applicable requirements.
- Complete literature fulfillment requests and provide customers with appropriate information in a timely and accurate manner.
- Communicate professionally and empathetically with callers and stakeholders, explaining medical terminology and information when needed.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining organization, flexibility, and time management.
- Perform administrative and non-telecommunication activities to support departmental efficiency and team capacity.
- Protect patient privacy and confidential information by following applicable privacy and security requirements.
