Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field, or have an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Have at least 5 years of successful B2B sales experience.
- Demonstrate the ability to consistently meet or exceed sales goals and revenue targets.
- Bring strong consultative selling, negotiation, customer relationship management, and business development skills.
- Have experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Be proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office 365.
- Be able to analyze sales data, develop accurate forecasts, and identify commercially relevant opportunities.
- Be self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating with operations, leadership, marketing, and other teams.
- Hold a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to customer locations, networking events, meetings, and other business activities as needed.
- Experience in commercial real estate services, facility management, building maintenance, or a related industry is preferred.
- Experience selling commercial building maintenance, engineering, janitorial, or facility management services is preferred.
- Experience responding to RFPs and developing tailored service proposals is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and business growth objectives.
- Recruit, train, manage, and develop sales personnel as the team grows.
- Identify, prospect, and secure commercial real estate and facility management clients through networking, referrals, targeted outreach, and industry events.
- Build relationships with prospective and existing customers to identify opportunities, additional services, and long-term partnerships.
- Own the sales cycle from lead generation and needs assessment through proposals, presentations, negotiation, and closing.
- Collaborate with operations and leadership to develop customized service solutions, pricing, proposals, and contracts.
- Maintain the sales pipeline and provide forecasts, activity reports, and market updates to leadership.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions.
- Coordinate customer onboarding with operations to support the transition from sales to service delivery.
- Track customer information, sales activity, and opportunities in the CRM system.
