Requirements
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Have at least 6 months of sales experience; call center, retail, membership, or customer-focused experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Type at least 25 words per minute.
- Demonstrate communication, persuasion, negotiation, relationship-building, and active listening skills.
- Be able to uncover customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Have experience meeting or exceeding sales, conversion, or performance goals.
- Be comfortable navigating multiple software applications, systems, and sales tools simultaneously.
- Have general knowledge of Windows-based desktop systems.
- Maintain a dedicated workspace near the router for a hardwired Ethernet connection.
- Have internet service with at least 25 Mbps download, 10 Mbps upload, and ISP latency under 50 ms; satellite, mobile-data hotspots, P2P, and VPN connections are not permitted.
- Provide proof of internet speed.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound customer interactions professionally and identify customer needs.
- Present and promote products, services, membership benefits, plans, and coverage options.
- Identify retention opportunities and use consultative strategies to preserve memberships.
- Resolve or de-escalate customer issues and escalate interactions when appropriate.
- Track call-related information for auditing and reporting.
- Meet or exceed sales, conversion, revenue, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Process sales transactions, service enrollments, and payment arrangements accurately.
