Requirements

  • At least 7 years of professional experience.
  • At least 3 years of account management experience, including building trust-based client relationships and managing simultaneous high-stakes projects.
  • Experience working at or with a managed service provider (MSP).
  • Demonstrated project management experience leading complex projects with high-stakes deadlines.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, or Jira.
  • Experience directing simultaneous projects from scoping through execution and aligning priorities, capacity, and timelines.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and resolve challenges with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including explaining technical and security concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience analyzing operations, leading improvement initiatives, and developing scalable processes.
  • Experience leading teams and managing up, including setting expectations and providing feedback.
  • Understanding of technology and digital security principles, especially in client service contexts.
  • Willingness to work outside normal business hours and travel as required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the account manager and primary point of contact for mission-driven clients.
  • Lead client onboarding and align internal teams to deliver services.
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams and client stakeholders through check-ins and written updates.
  • Review client requests for patterns and propose solutions proactively.
  • Lead technical client service projects from scoping through execution.
  • Coordinate project priorities, requirements, capacity, timelines, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain records of project deliverables, issues, risks, dependencies, decisions, and schedules.
  • Partner with program and client success leaders to improve operations, efficiency, scalability, and team capacity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain knowledge bases, project tracking tools, and documentation.
