Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional experience.
- At least 3 years of account management experience, including building trust-based client relationships and managing simultaneous high-stakes projects.
- Experience working at or with a managed service provider (MSP).
- Demonstrated project management experience managing complex projects with high-stakes deadlines.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, or Jira.
- Experience directing simultaneous projects from scoping through execution and aligning priorities, capacity, and timelines.
- Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and resolve challenges with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including explaining technical and security concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience analyzing operations, leading improvement initiatives, and developing scalable processes.
- Experience leading teams and managing up, including setting expectations and providing feedback.
- Understanding of technology and digital security principles, especially in client service contexts.
- Willingness to work outside normal business hours and travel as required.
- Project management certification is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the account manager and primary point of contact for mission-driven clients.
- Drive client onboarding and coordinate internal teams to prepare for service delivery.
- Facilitate communication between internal teams and client stakeholders through check-ins and written updates.
- Monitor client services against agreed scopes and identify service opportunities aligned with client needs.
- Analyze client requests for patterns and propose solutions.
- Lead technical client service projects from scoping through execution, defining requirements and delivering within scope and timelines.
- Coordinate project priorities, requirements, capacity, and timelines across internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Maintain records of project deliverables, issues, risks, dependencies, decisions, and schedules.
- Partner with technical program and client success leaders to improve operations, efficiency, and team capacity.
- Help maintain and optimize knowledge bases, project tracking tools, and documentation.
