Requirements
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Have 1+ year of software testing, quality assurance or technical support experience.
- Have experience following written test procedures and documenting results.
- Be familiar with defect tracking tools such as Jira, ALM or Azure DevOps.
- Be able to work independently in a remote environment.
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification is preferred.
- Basic SQL knowledge for checking test data is preferred.
- Experience supporting federal government contracts is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases and test scripts according to test plans.
- Record test results and capture evidence such as screenshots.
- Log defects with steps to reproduce, expected results and actual results.
- Retest fixed defects and run regression tests.
- Prepare and maintain test data.
- Assist with updating test cases and test documentation.
- Support user acceptance testing as needed.
