Requirements
- Have proven experience as a QA Test Engineer on MDM projects.
- Bring hands-on experience with Match and Merge logic and survivorship rules.
- Understand MDM concepts such as golden records, XREF, trust score, and hierarchies.
- Have strong SQL skills for data validation and analysis.
- Have experience with data quality and data governance testing.
- Be familiar with ETL/ELT processes and data integration testing.
- Have experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test cases for MDM implementations, focusing on Match, Merge, and Survivorship logic.
- Validate golden record creation, duplicate detection, and de-duplication scenarios.
- Test MDM data models, hierarchies, and relationships.
- Perform data validation across staging, base, and downstream systems.
- Validate data quality rules, standardization, and enrichment logic.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing for MDM solutions.
- Perform backend data testing using SQL queries.
- Validate batch and real-time data loads and reconciliations.
- Log, track, and retest defects using tools like JIRA.
- Support release testing and post-production validation.
