Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least five years of experience in automated testing and validation of enterprise applications.
- Experience in test scripting, test framework maintenance, and CI/CD integration.
- Strong working knowledge of DevSecOps, Agile testing methodologies, and test data management.
- Familiarity with RMF and DoD cybersecurity requirements, including secure coding and vulnerability scanning.
- Experience with Git, Jira, and Confluence.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Java-based testing frameworks.
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent CSWF certification; must meet DoD 8570 IAT II or higher requirements.
- Active DoD Secret security clearance; the posting notes that U.S. citizenship is generally required.
- Experience implementing test automation in Agile DevSecOps environments, with knowledge of requirements traceability, software assurance, and test-driven development.
- Experience testing REST APIs and microservices with Postman or an equivalent tool is desired.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes or OpenShift and cloud platforms such as AWS GovCloud or Azure IL is desired.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for complex web applications using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Design and manage test frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Align automated test plans with Agile sprint acceptance criteria and link them to the Requirements Traceability Verification Matrix (RTVM).
- Collaborate with Systems Engineers, Software Developers, and Cybersecurity staff to ensure test coverage, including Section 508 compliance.
- Develop performance, security, integration, and regression test scenarios using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Document and maintain test cases, procedures, results, and metrics aligned with contract deliverables.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and participate in root cause analysis.
- Support defect tracking, resolution, and retesting through Jira or equivalent agile tracking tools.
- Maintain and tune test environments to mirror production and support RPOC onboarding and certification activities.
- Participate in IPTs, sprint planning, and stakeholder demonstrations to provide testing insights and recommendations.
