Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Have 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master on software development teams.
- Have strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile principles.
- Be proficient with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Have strong facilitation and conflict-resolution skills.
- Be able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or SAFe Scrum Master certification is preferred.
- Experience supporting federal government contracts is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Remove impediments and escalate issues that slow the team down.
- Work with the Product Owner to keep the backlog groomed and prioritized.
- Track and report sprint progress, velocity, and burndown.
- Coach team members on Scrum practices and Agile principles.
- Promote collaboration between the team and outside stakeholders.
- Encourage continuous improvement through retrospective actions.
