Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience building production fullstack web applications.
- Have experience with React and TypeScript.
- Bring excellent Kotlin or JVM backend experience.
- Have experience with services, ETL/data pipelines, and schema design.
- Demonstrate ownership of a complex, production-critical system.
- Be comfortable engineering with regulated or sensitive data, such as HIPAA, GDPR, BAA, or PHI.
- Bring strong product and UX instincts for annotation, labeling, data exploration, or operations UIs.
Responsibilities
- Co-own the ML App codebase, including the React/TypeScript SPA, Kotlin services, and Kotlin ETL on EKS.
- Design and ship features for data labeling, data exploration, ML training orchestration, model evaluation, model playgrounds, and ML-issue triage.
- Drive improvements to in-house annotation tooling, including UX, throughput, and task-type extensibility.
- Maintain CI/CD, EKS deployments, and LGTM-stack observability for the ML App; triage and fix defects.
- Pair with the Platform team on platform-side prerequisites, including the FGA proxy and OIDC, for new training flows.
