Job Details

Have deep experience designing, building, and operating backend services.
Have strong knowledge of Java or comparable backend technologies.
Have experience owning distributed, high-scale, or business-critical systems where reliability, performance, and security matter.
Have experience with relational databases at scale, including performance optimization and database tuning.
Be able to reason about architecture, APIs, dependencies, data flows, and the platform-wide impact of technical decisions.
Have experience working in a product-driven environment and connecting technical decisions to user and business outcomes.
Make pragmatic engineering trade-offs and avoid unnecessary technical complexity.
Collaborate across teams, share context, and help others make technical decisions.
Be comfortable contributing across the stack, with strongest expertise in backend engineering.

Design, build, deploy, and operate scalable backend services for authorization, permissions, and team management.
Own critical systems that enable creators, teams, agents, licensors, and partners to access and manage content and capabilities.
Evolve backend architecture to support growth while maintaining reliability, performance, and security.
Improve systems and workflows for creators to access their content, profiles, and teams.
Make technical decisions and trade-offs that balance long-term architecture with current product and business needs.
Partner with engineers and cross-functional collaborators to understand authorization needs and build reusable platform capabilities.
Contribute to frontend experiences and data-related work when useful.
Raise engineering quality through technical judgment, design discussions, operational excellence, and knowledge sharing.
