Requirements
- Have 7+ years in data replication, sales engineering, solutions architecture, or consulting in data operations, analytics, or BI.
- Bring a strong technical background in database replication, cloud infrastructure, and modern data warehousing architectures.
- Have hands-on experience with SQL, ETL/ELT, and data modeling.
- Have experience with modern data analytics technologies, including cloud data warehouses or lakes, transformation tooling such as dbt, data catalogs, and BI tools.
- Be able to gather and translate technical and business requirements into concrete solutions.
- Have strong problem-solving and analytical skills and be comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
- Be able to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Work with Enterprise customers to understand their business, use cases, and requirements across data replication, transformation, and modeling.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations to Enterprise audiences on the Fivetran + dbt value proposition.
- Run proof-of-value processes spanning ingestion through transformation.
- Guide customers through dbt Cloud proof-of-concept implementations, including private-cloud deployments where applicable.
- Work with Product and Engineering to align solutions with Enterprise customer needs and inform the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Enterprise customers and partners, including Snowflake, AWS, and Databricks.
- Own the technical relationship across the customer lifecycle, from pre-sale evaluation through adoption and expansion.
- Stay current on data movement, transformation, and analytics engineering trends and participate in the dbt community.
