Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum five years of telecommunications experience or equivalent project management experience.
- Experience managing large-scale projects.
- Demonstrated experience meeting project commitment deadlines.
- Familiarity with Outside Plant (OSP) architectures, including underground, direct buried, aerial, and building applications.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
- Understanding of LEAN concepts.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when applicable to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day projects using project management tools, processes, and methodologies to deliver on time, on budget, and with quality.
- Create long- and short-term plans, set milestone targets, and adhere to deadlines.
- Provide status across ongoing projects and maintain comprehensive documentation and regular reports to leadership.
- Coordinate regular meetings to support communication, alignment, information sharing, and implementation of best practices.
- Ensure team members have the information and resources needed to carry out their tasks.
- Coordinate internal and external resources, action items, and timelines to support timely project completion.
- Assess risks, resolve issues, or engage others to limit schedule and quality impacts.
- Gather lessons learned and feedback on processes, procedures, and tools to improve efficiency and cycle time.
- Drive processes and automation that support LEAN approaches to problem-solving.
