Experience: Minimum five (5) years of hands-on field experience performing fiber optic splicing, installation, testing, or network deployment within the last five years

Have a minimum of five years of hands-on field experience in fiber optic splicing, installation, testing, or network deployment within the last five years.
Hold current Fiber Optic Association Certified Fiber Optic Technician (FOA CFOT) certification.
Hold current Fiber Optic Association Certified Fiber Optic Specialist - Splicing (FOA CFOS/S) certification.
Have previous experience teaching, instructing, mentoring, or facilitating adult learners.
Have demonstrated experience with fusion splicing equipment and fiber optic testing instruments.
Have experience teaching classroom and hands-on lab courses in a professional or technical training environment.
Have working knowledge of fiber optic installation standards, testing methodologies, and industry best practices.
Hold a current driver's license.
Be able to travel consistently throughout the United States and occasionally internationally.
Be proficient in PowerPoint presentations and virtual training platforms.
Be proficient in public speaking and classroom facilitation.

Teach fiber optic installation, fusion splicing, ribbon splicing, testing, troubleshooting, and broadband deployment practices.
Deliver classroom presentations to telecommunications, broadband, utility, construction, and industrial professionals.
Conduct hands-on laboratory exercises and field-based demonstrations.
Demonstrate and evaluate hands-on fiber optic splicing and testing techniques.
Interface with the Sales Department to customize training programs.
