Requirements
- Show a track record of diagnosing difficult human or organizational problems and demonstrating what changed because of an intervention.
- Have experience redesigning structures, roles, decision rights, or operating models.
- Provide evidence of improving individual, manager, or team effectiveness, not only delivering training.
- Have done this work from inside an organization and lived with the results.
- Demonstrate thoughtful understanding of incentives and motivation, including unintended consequences.
- Be comfortable telling the Co-CEOs something they may not want to hear.
- Actively use AI in your own work and have a view on how it should change team design.
- Graduate training in industrial-organizational psychology, organizational behavior, or organization design is a plus.
- Set quarterly OKRs with leading and lagging measures and work in Confluence, Jira, and Monday.
Responsibilities
- Shape roles, teams, reporting lines, decision rights, and operating models around company strategy.
- Own recruiting strategy, critical and leadership hiring, succession, and retention of high performers.
- Build selection methods that predict performance and track quality of hire at six and twelve months.
- Diagnose habits limiting individual and team effectiveness and design interventions people use.
- Own manager selection, development, delegation, 1:1 quality, and manager evaluation.
- Design continuous feedback, communication norms, and ways of working across office and remote teams.
- Improve the human effectiveness of executive planning, OKRs, team planning, and reporting.
- Design salary philosophy and bands, bonus structures, promotion criteria, and the gain-share model.
- Design the employee lifecycle, career paths, and Associates Program, and build a lean People team as needed.
