Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering or a related data domain.
- Strong experience designing and developing data layers, data warehouses, data marts or analytical solutions.
- Experience integrating data from multiple source systems.
- Hands-on experience performing business analysis in complex technology projects.
- Experience working across multiple business and technology teams.
- Strong SQL and T-SQL skills and very good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
- Practical experience with ETL/ELT solutions.
- Good practical knowledge of Python for data processing and automation.
- Experience with data workflow orchestration tools, preferably Apache Airflow.
- Experience with Power BI and Git or similar version-control tools.
- Strong understanding of data modelling, transformation and integration patterns, with practical experience defining data quality and validation rules.
- Good stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse and document business and technical requirements.
- Lead discussions with business stakeholders, data owners, architects and technology teams.
- Identify data sources and translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
- Design data flows, solution concepts and analytical or modelling data layers.
- Create mappings, transformation logic and business rules for data from multiple sources.
- Design and support ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses and data marts.
- Define data quality controls and validation processes, investigate anomalies and recommend remediation.
- Support functional, integration and acceptance testing and ensure solutions meet audit and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate work across business and technology teams, manage dependencies and risks, and drive decisions and follow-up actions.
- Prepare recommendations and implementation plans, and support code reviews and production deployment.
