Requirements
- Have production experience with Go or TypeScript, or demonstrate strong systems programming skills in a comparable language.
- Bring strong debugging, optimization, and performance-tuning skills.
- Have experience with query profiling, index design, and database performance tuning beyond ORM usage.
- Have experience with observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
- Have experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Bring hands-on cloud platform experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure; this is a strong plus.
- Have experience with Kubernetes; this is a strong plus.
- Have strong verbal and written English skills.
- Have personally driven a complex project end-to-end.
- Be adaptable, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity.
Responsibilities
- Develop with observability in mind, identify bottlenecks, and optimize performance.
- Use query profiles and flame graphs to investigate rising p99 latency.
- Design and maintain reliable datastores and distributed systems behind the inference API as usage scales.
- Build billing, usage metering, and role-based controls for monitoring and governing user consumption.
- Own features end-to-end, from design and implementation through testing and production rollout.
