Requirements

  • Have 3+ years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience in glass, glazing systems, architectural hardware, or a closely related industry.
  • Have 3+ years of people management experience, including direct leadership of procurement, sourcing, or supply teams.
  • Have experience building or scaling a procurement or sourcing function from scratch, including processes, workflows, supplier standards, reporting, KPIs, and team structure.
  • Have experience designing and implementing procurement processes, policies, and operating procedures across the full purchasing cycle.
  • Have hands-on sourcing and procurement experience with US-based suppliers and international markets.
  • Have sourced glass, glazing components, aluminum or steel systems, architectural hardware, fittings, accessories, or related materials.
  • Have experience managing supplier relationships, negotiations, pricing, lead times, quality issues, and supply risks.
  • Have experience with international logistics, import/export, customs, and cross-border procurement.
  • Be able to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
  • Have experience implementing or improving procurement tools, task management systems, reporting, and cross-functional workflows.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and PDF tools.
  • Be fluent in English; fluent Russian is a plus.
  • Be available to work Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four Supply Engineers.
  • Assign tasks, prioritize workloads, monitor deadlines, and provide coaching and performance feedback.
  • Launch production by coordinating glass orders and ensuring required hardware and materials are available.
  • Plan inventory levels and forecast procurement needs.
  • Review technical drawings and specifications, prepare material lists, and verify dimensions, finishes, and quality requirements before ordering.
  • Source and develop supplier relationships across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia; negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Manage purchasing for production, warehouse, and installation operations, and resolve supplier quality, logistics, and delivery issues.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Project Managers, Engineers, Estimators, Warehouse, and Installation teams on engineering changes, material substitutions, and procurement planning.
  • Review team procurement documentation, material lists, and purchase orders; support complex sourcing challenges and supplier escalations.
  • Improve procurement workflows and report progress, risks, and operational updates to the Chief Technical Officer.
