Requirements
- Professional experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a Cloud Service and Cloud Manager.
- Experience developing AEM components with HTL/Sightly, Granite/Coral UI dialogs, and Sling Models.
- Understanding of the AEM Project Archetype and Maven project structure, including ui.config, core, and ui.frontend modules.
- Strong frontend skills in semantic HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox, Grid, SASS/LESS, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
- Experience creating responsive, cross-browser interfaces with high visual fidelity to design specifications.
- Knowledge of web accessibility, WCAG principles, and technical SEO best practices.
- Hands-on experience with web performance optimisation and Core Web Vitals.
- Familiarity with at least one modern frontend framework or library, such as React or Angular.
- Experience with Git, branching strategies, and code-review workflows.
- Practical knowledge of Java within AEM, including OSGi, Sling, and JCR.
- Understanding of AEM author/publish architecture, Dispatcher, and caching mechanisms.
- Experience consuming and creating REST/JSON APIs.
- Adobe Experience Cloud experience, AEM Headless, automated testing, A/B testing, or an Adobe Certified Expert — AEM Sites Developer certification are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance AEM Sites components, templates, and Content Fragments.
- Build responsive, accessible, pixel-accurate interfaces from Figma designs.
- Optimise web performance and Core Web Vitals using techniques such as lazy loading, image optimisation, critical CSS, and JavaScript reduction.
- Maintain and expand the design system and component library.
- Develop AEM backend integrations, including Servlets, Sling Models, workflows, schedulers, and REST API integrations.
- Implement and validate tracking and tagging with Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and dataLayer.
- Support marketing campaigns with landing pages, A/B testing, and content personalisation.
- Participate in code reviews and CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Manager.
- Collaborate with product, UX/design, marketing, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Own solutions from implementation through quality gates and production deployment.
