Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of IT project management experience, with a strong focus on infrastructure-related projects.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure technologies, including networking, servers, databases, cloud services, and enterprise systems.
- Proficiency with project management methodologies, tools, and software used to plan, track, and report on project delivery.
- Ability to coordinate technical teams and manage multiple projects or priorities simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management abilities, including setting expectations and clearly communicating complex project information.
- Problem-solving, decision-making, risk-management, and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing vendors and external service providers, including resolving delivery or performance issues.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with distributed teams.
- A master's degree and/or professional certifications such as PMP or CAPM are highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Develop project plans covering scope, timelines, milestones, resources, dependencies, deliverables, and budgets for IT infrastructure initiatives.
- Lead project execution and track progress against schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Manage project personnel, equipment, technology, and budgets.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers, implementing mitigation plans and escalating matters when appropriate.
- Communicate with project teams, management, vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage vendor and service-provider relationships, performance, issue resolution, contract-related discussions, and service expectations.
- Establish and oversee project quality-control processes.
- Prepare project status reports, progress updates, and management communications.
- Maintain project plans, processes, decisions, outcomes, and lessons learned.
- Coordinate multiple priorities and align project activities with business and infrastructure objectives.
