Requirements
- Have 5+ years of professional sales experience, preferably in third-party administration, benefits administration, healthcare, or a related industry.
- Demonstrate experience managing and directing a skilled, results-oriented sales team.
- Understand spending accounts, employee benefits, and applicable industry regulations.
- Develop and execute sales strategies that support revenue growth and business objectives.
- Bring leadership, coaching, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills for engaging employees, clients, partners, and senior stakeholders.
- Use sales data to evaluate performance and identify opportunities; demonstrate analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.
- Be proficient with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Be able to work extensively with computers, phone systems, and multiple software applications throughout the workday.
Responsibilities
- Lead, organize, coach, and develop a TPA sales team to achieve revenue and business objectives.
- Develop and execute sales strategies for spending account and COBRA solutions, including FSA and HSA products.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through employer relationships, account executives, sales leadership, brokers, and third-party partners.
- Build relationships with clients and internal teams across implementation, service, marketing, finance, and other functions.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members, providing coaching, performance guidance, and support.
- Partner with marketing to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and initiatives.
- Train and support sales representatives on product knowledge, positioning, sales techniques, and customer engagement.
- Analyze sales performance data and prepare reports to monitor results, identify trends, and uncover improvement areas.
- Recruit, develop, retain, and support sales talent while maintaining appropriate team capacity.
- Participate directly in sales activities and customer opportunities when additional leadership or selling support is needed.
