Requirements

- Have 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Have proven experience leading and developing accounting teams.
- Be able to train and develop junior team members.
- Have a strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting.
- Have experience with multi-location accounting and allocations.
- Be proficient in balance sheet reconciliations and analysis.
- Be comfortable working with ERP systems and cross-platform data.
- Have experience in restaurant, retail, or multi-unit businesses.
- Have strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software.
- Be organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to solve problems.
Responsibilities
- Mentor and guide staff and senior-level teammates.
- Maintain thorough workflow understanding and keep documents audit-ready across all locations.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP standards and prepare audit-ready financial worksheets.
- Prepare journal entries related to multi-location allocations.
- Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts.
- Analyze data across systems and ensure seamless integration with the ERP.
- Connect sales, covers, labor hours, inventory, and food-cost data with the financial system for accurate financial reports.
