Requirements
- Doctoral degree in a scientific or medical discipline.
- 8+ years of experience as an MSL or in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- 3+ years of experience as an MSL in the lung cancer disease state area.
- Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies and drug development processes.
- Knowledge and experience in oncology.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize scientific information effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including communicating complex scientific data to diverse audiences.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
- Preferred experience in lung and gastrointestinal cancers.
- Experience with early- and late-stage clinical assets and approved therapies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with KOLs, healthcare professionals, and academic institutions.
- Communicate clinical and scientific data through presentations, educational programs, and scientific discussions.
- Synthesize scientific insights from KOLs and communicate them to relevant internal teams.
- Provide scientific support for medical congresses, advisory boards, and other scientific engagements.
- Serve as a scientific expert and resource for internal stakeholders, providing support for products and therapeutic areas.
- Collaborate with medical affairs, clinical development, marketing, and other teams on medical strategies and tactics.
- Stay current with scientific literature, emerging research, and the competitive landscape.
- Understand regulatory requirements for customer engagement by field-based employees.
