Requirements

  • Bring 10 or more years of commercial, sales, or account leadership experience in healthcare technology.
  • Have at least five years of experience owning enterprise or national payer accounts.
  • Have experience selling technology-enabled solutions to a health plan.
  • Bring three to five or more years of experience in healthcare payer payment integrity solutions.
  • Understand the differences between pre-pay and post-pay work and how payers measure vendor performance.
  • Demonstrate a record of obtaining and exceeding sales quotas, with accountability for both retention and growth.
  • Have direct experience with payer procurement cycles, vendor management, security and compliance review, pilots, and multi-year contracting.
  • Show evidence of expanding a multi-service relationship within a large account.
  • Have strong knowledge of the competitive set and current industry trends.
  • Be skilled in face-to-face and virtual presentations and online demos.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or have equivalent experience.
  • Be willing to travel 10 to 25 percent of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Own total revenue, renewals, and expansion for an assigned portfolio of strategic national accounts.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives across installed-base growth and new business.
  • Maintain account plans, pipeline records, and forecasts in the CRM, and raise retention risks early.
  • Identify and qualify prospective health plan accounts and build the business case for Machinify solutions.
  • Manage new-business sales from first contact and discovery through presentation, deal structure, close, and implementation handoff.
  • Build relationships with payer stakeholders across payment integrity, claims operations, network, finance, compliance, and procurement.
  • Lead quarterly and annual business reviews and serve as the client escalation point.
  • Identify portfolio expansion opportunities and lead scoping, pricing, and contracting with internal teams.
  • Coordinate client-facing work across service lines, Operations, Implementation, Clinical, Product, and Analytics.
  • Research market and competitive strategy and share payer perspectives with Product and Clinical teams.
