Requirements
- Hold a BS degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- Have 2 or more years of experience with distributed robotics software development in C++.
- Be proficient with Linux/bash environments and command-line tools.
- Know version control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Be able to debug complex systems.
- Have familiarity with SSH for remote access and scripting on single-board computers, such as Raspberry Pi.
- Have operating system and machine deployment and management ability, such as with Ansible.
- Be able to document work clearly in writing and verbally.
- Preferred: experience with real-time sensor integration and vision systems on autonomous vehicles or robotic systems.
- Preferred: familiarity with GPU computing on edge devices and real-world constraints.
- Preferred: experience with Python, especially in a robotics context.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test robotics system software in C++ in a Linux environment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on software for agricultural and construction equipment.
- Troubleshoot and support distributed systems remotely and in the field during deployment and testing.
- Document code, APIs, and system architecture.
- Break down work and estimate time to completion.
