Requirements
- Have at least 3 years of professional software development experience, particularly with React and Node.js.
- Have strong hands-on knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Have experience across frontend development, APIs, backend services, authentication, testing, and debugging.
- Have experience deploying or supporting applications in production environments.
- Have practical experience with GraphQL and Apollo.
- Understand Git, pull-request workflows, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Have command-line experience in Mac or Linux environments.
- Have contributed to at least one large-scale software project.
- Have experience with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor, and critically evaluate AI-generated code.
- Understand responsible AI development practices, including appropriate handling of client code and data.
- Have advanced English communication skills and the ability to collaborate with international teams.
- Be currently residing in Latin America.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive, interactive user interfaces using React.
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Develop end-to-end features connecting frontend experiences with backend services, APIs, and data.
- Design, implement, and maintain databases and data integrations, including GraphQL-based services.
- Troubleshoot technical issues across frontend, backend, integrations, and production environments.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, continuous delivery, and automated testing.
- Contribute to CI/CD workflows and support application deployments and production operations.
- Optimize application performance and help maintain stable, production-ready applications.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, debugging, and documentation, critically reviewing generated output.
- Collaborate with developers, QA professionals, architects, and other stakeholders, and document technical decisions.
